The Minister of Home Affairs issued directions on the 3rd of July 2020, in line with the National State of Disaster Regulations, which extended the validity period of legally issued visas which expired during the lockdown period to 31 October 2020.
This means that lawfully issued visas which expired from 15 February and during the period of the lockdown are deemed to be valid until the end of October 2020.
