The contribution of these fees must be made by an entity that falls under the scope of the ICT Sector Council and must remain up to date.
The verification agency must validate whether these ICT Sector Council fees are up to date, which would validate a particular B-BBEE Certificate or Affidavit. If an organization has not contributed in full, their B-BBEE Certificate or Affidavit will not be recognized under the ESD element until such time as proof of payment is received.
This could have a significant impact on an entity’s BEE score and, ultimately, BEE level.
The
current fees are listed as follows:
• EME – R650;
• QSE – R1250;
• Generic – 0.015% of Net Profit After Tax.
