The Agri Sector QSE Scorecard has four initiatives that have a multiplier on the points earned for contributions. The initiatives are as follows;
- Initiatives that directly contribute to new jobs created in the associate enterprise. If there is an increase of 100% jobs created on the base, the measured entity gets a total of 1.5 multiple factor. Pro rata will apply if the increase is less than 100%, which is 1.5 multiple factor;
- Initiatives that assists the development of beneficiary entities to produce goods and/or services not previously produced or manufactured in South Africa. An agreement between the measured entity and beneficiary is required, this is also 1.5 multiple factor;.5 Multiple factor
- Contributions regarding warehousing fund (provided these funds do not own any equity interest in the Measured Enterprise). This excludes statutory levies and third-party enterprise and supplier development facilitators. This amounts to 1.25 multiple factor;
- Support to land reform beneficiaries and other black-owned enterprises to mentor or extend services, capital provision, input supply and market access opportunities, access to technology and infrastructure. This amounts to1.5 multiple factor
Meeting the requirements of these initiatives will allow the measured entity to multiply their points scored and effectively maximise the contribution made
