The Transport Sector Code has not been amended, and as a result, it does not make provision for the issuing of B-BBEE Affidavits.
Companies that fall under the Transport Sector will need to go through the verification process. A SANAS accredited B-BBEE certificate will need to be issued to verify the B-BBEE status of these companies.
This is regardless of the turnover or the percentage of Black Ownership that the company might have.
