The Consumer Protection Act does not apply to the following:

• Any transaction in terms of which goods and services are supplied, or marketed to the State;

• A juristic person whose annual turnover exceeds or equals the threshold amount determined by the Minister;

• A credit agreement under the National Credit Act and transactions in terms of an employment contract.
