A consolidated B-BBEE verification can be performed on a group of companies instead of doing a separate verification for each entity within the group. Each entity can however still do their own separate verification if they choose to do so. In certain instances, it may be favourable to do both, especially where an entity within the group can achieve a higher B-BBEE status level on their own.
