The primary reason for conducting a risk assessment is to assess the risk to the health, safety and environmental impact certain operations may have on employees. In this course our aim is to highlight the importance of risk assessment. We take an in-depth look at the responsibilities of the designated safety representative in order to ensure compliance and meet the necessary requirements for optimal safety as reassurance. Emphasis will be placed on hazard identification and the associated risks they pose to employees at work.
