Changing lives, one cyclist at a time

SEESA’s own non-profit organisation, SocEd NPC, teamed up with Go Sport Events donating 36 bicycles to Kungwini Welfare Organisation on Wednesday 21 November 2018.

Kungwini Welfare Organisation – a team of people dedicated to change and upliftment in their community and beyond – provides care for people with disabilities, social work services, community development services, and established learning centres for small children and children with special needs. SocEd NPC recognizes the importance of physical development for holistic wellbeing and has partnered with Albi de Lange from Go Sport Events to provide Kungwini Welfare Organisation with 36 bicycles. With these bicycles, Kungwini hopes to host a fundraising cycling challenge in 2019. The bicycles will be distributed among children and young adults in the care of Kungwini, inspiring them to start training.

“We’re proud to be part of another initiative that changes lives in our community. People often underestimate the immense impact of physical development on a person’s holistic wellbeing. Being part of initiatives that drive change through sports development is very rewarding – you see young people inspired, discovering their own potential, finding their own new limits and pushing themselves towards excellence.” – Ewert Kleynhans, Director: SocEd NPC
